When submitting a protocol for research with Aboriginal peoples/communities/institutions as participants, please do not forget to include proof of Aboriginal community/institutional authorization and an Intellectual Property Agreement. NUREB will only consider protocols for research with Aboriginal peoples/communities/institutions as participants that include these items.
Any Request for Modification to a NUREB-approved protocol involving research with Aboriginal peoples/communities/institutions as participants may require prior notification of the Office of Aboriginal Initiatives and additional Aboriginal community/institutional authorization.
