All research projects involving animals on or off campus cannot be initiated without prior approval of the University Animal Care Committee (UACC). This form is used for all new projects.
All teaching projects involving animals on or off campus cannot be initiated without prior approval of the University Animal Care Committee (UACC). This form is used for all new projects.
Renewal: All approved projects involving animals must undergo an annual renewal before the stated approval expiry date in order to continue work involving animals. To complete the forms, type in all the requested information. You are required to submit a new protocol after a maximum of three consecutive renewals.Amendment: During the course of the project you can request changes to an approved protocol (eg. number of animals) by submitting an amendment form.
The Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) requires final project reports be completed for ALL protocols (upon project completion) and submitted to the University Animal Care Coordinator.
