Finding a Research Supervisor

All students entering the program are assigned a Supervisor , who will not only direct their Major Research Paper but also monitor the student's progress and are a primary point of contact between the student and the School of Graduate Studies.

The Graduate Advisor plays a fundamental role in the day-to-day operations of the History Department's Master of Arts program. Both the School of Graduate Studies and the Supervisor Faculty rely greatly on the professional assistance of the Graduate Advisor.

The Graduate Advisor assigns a primary supervisor for each student before admission, based on the recommendation of the Graduate Committee and consultation with the recommended faculty members. The Graduate Advisor also assigns a secondary supervisor based on the recommendation of the primary supervisor.
