French as a Second Language Part I (FSL):Candidates wanting to register for FSL I must successfully complete a French proficiency test as an entrance requirement before being permitted to register in Part I.
Pre-Approval:Candidates who intend to register in an Honour Specialist, Intermediate or Senior ABQ course, must be pre-approved before registering. Click here for the approval process.
Part II, Part III and an Honour Specialist AQ Courses:All students must submit evidence of the required successful teaching experience as certified by the appropriate supervisory. For a Part III and Honour Specialist course, evidence of successful teaching experience is required including experience in the subject area seeking qualification. A Statement of Experience form must be signed and then faxed, mailed, or scanned and emailed to the Registrar's Office. The required teaching experience must be complete prior to the start of the course. This form can be submitted at a later date but prior to the course start date.

Important Note re: Eligibility to take AQ's
Members are responsible for learning what prerequisites are necessary to enrol in AQ courses or programs. Additional Qualification providers may require additional requirements for entry. Members must hold a General Certificate of Qualification and Registration for admission to AQ courses or programs.
Transitional certificate holders are not eligible to enrol in College-accredited AQ programs including ABQs.
