Congratulations on your offer of admission to the Bachelor of Education program! Please carefully read and follow the instructions and dates outlined on this website. In Nipissing’s ongoing commitment to help preserve our planet, most of the information you will need is now found on our website. Please take a moment to review this website.

We will continue to communicate with you through your “My Nipissing” account. Please check WebAdvisor to verify that we receive all required documentation. Please check your email account regularly as we may email you with important information or a question or concern that requires a timely response. Failure to check “My Nipissing” could affect the status of your offer of admission.

Admission Decision
All admission decisions will be released through “My Nipissing” and by mail. We will not release admission decisions over the telephone. Offer of Admission Important Dates Checklist - Offer of Admission Ontario Universities’ Application Centre website will be available to receive the acceptance of your offer of admission starting April 3.
Accept Your Offer of Admission by APRIL 16, 2012
	Indicate your response through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website. You will require your OUAC reference number along with your Compass Password/PIN. *Late responses will not be accepted.
	Non-Refundable Admission Deposit of $350.00 due. Mail a cheque, bank draft or money order to the University. Payment can also be made through internet banking. Admission Deposit Form
	Practicum Registration Form due. Please review the practice teaching options and instructions.
April 17, 2012
	Begin Police Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening (PBC). Please note, due to new legislation, the process to complete a PBC can take up to 120 days. You must begin the process right away to ensure that you meet the August 10th deadline. Procedures for Police Background Check
June 25, 2012
	Final Transcript is due. If you received a conditional offer of admission, you must submit a final transcript that shows your degree has been conferred and all required courses are completed. (Transcripts from Ontario universities should be ordered through OUAC. You must contact your university directly for all transcripts from outside Ontario. Nipissing students do not need to order a Nipissing transcript.) Legal proof of name change. If documents received are different than current name (unless previously provided upon application).

Mid July 2012
	Registration information will be mailed. This will include Option Course Information.
August 10, 2012
	Police Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening due. Failure to provide this documentation by 4:00 p.m. on August 10, 2012 will result in your removal from the BEd program.
August 27, 2012
	Classes begin. Welcome to Nipissing. Attendance is mandatory. Tuition and laptop External Hard Drive (EHD) fees are due this week.
