Dr. Sharpe recognized for excellence


Dr. Glen Sharpe, associate professor in the Schulich School of Education, was recently featured in the Aboriginal Professional Association of Canada’s Recognizing Excellence series.

In the article, which can be viewed here, Dr. Sharpe discusses his work teaching at Nipissing, including the enjoyment he gets from interacting with unique individuals on the job, how important perseverance has been to him as a professional, and provides some advice fro other Aboriginal professionals.

The Aboriginal Professional Association of Canada (APAC) is a membership-based, leadership-focused organization that connects, supports and promotes outstanding leadership within the First Nations, Métis and Inuit community of professionals. They aim to foster and showcase world class leadership within the Aboriginal community from coast-to-coast-to-coast.  The Recognizing Excellence program showcases amazing Aboriginal leaders.
