Dr. Aroha Page presenting paper

Congratulations to Nipissing’s Dr. Aroha Page, associate professor of Nursing whose paper has been accepted for presentation at the interational Aging and Society: Fifth Interdisciplinary Conference in Washington, DC.

This year’s conference will discuss different perspectives on aging such as economic and demographic, public policy, social and cultural, and health and wellness.

At the conference Dr. Page will be presenting her paper on subjective well-being and elderly ethnic women in relation to their possessions.

The Aging and Society explores the changing social dynamics of aging. The annual Interdisciplinary Conference held at the Catholic University of America invites leaders that represent a broad range of disciplines and perspectives, as well as emerging scholars to share their work, discuss key issues in the field, and build relationships with other attendees.
