Annual fund call campaign heating up

Nipissing University students are working the phones as part of the Annual Fund campaign, raising funds for scholarships, bursaries and awards.

Annual giving is an organized effort to secure annual, ongoing philanthropic support for Nipissing University. Established in 1999, the Nipissing University Annual Fund (known as Building Futures until 2005/06) promotes annual giving and provides Nipissing University alumni, faculty and staff, students, and friends with the opportunity to support the university. The priority for the 2016 Annual Fund is to secure donations for scholarships, awards and bursaries for Nipissing students.

One of the methods of raising Annual Giving funds is through the Annual Fund Call Campaign. To help us reach out to our alumni living and working all over the globe, we hire students as a key part of our Call Campaign program; this also provides part-time employment for students and helps them practice important communication skills. The Call Campaign begins in October and continues into April.

If you get a call and can donate, please do so. If a donation isn’t in the cards right now, you can still update your contact information and have a chat with one of Nipissing’s student callers.

If you would like more information about the Annual Fund, or if you would like to schedule a call for a particular date/time, please contact Mary-Ann Gilchrist, fundraising and stewardship coordinator at 705-474-3450 x 4383 or maryanng@nipissingu.ca, or visit the Call Campaign section of the website.
