Located within driving distance of Orillia and Barrie, programs include Child and Family Studies, Culture and the Arts, Liberal Arts and teaching options.
Earn a BA (Honours) in Contemporary Studies from Laurier and a BEd from Nipissing as well as practice teach in the Public or Catholic schools near Brantford.
Students graduating with an overall average of 80% or higher on all Nipissing courses which are required to complete the degree, will be granted their degree "with distinction". The overall average must be calculated on a minimum of 60 credits completed at Nipissing and presented for the degree.
Note: There is no "with distinction" designation for Faculty of Education graduates.
