The Concurrent Education program at our Brantford Campus is offered in partnership with Laurier Brantford. Graduates receive an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Society, Culture & Environment from Laurier Brantford and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing.
The ceremony is held on a ramped stage for both entrance and exit. Staff is available at the ceremony to assist with any other concerns. For accessibility inquiries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Reserved accessible seating is available for guests with disabilities. Each guest who requires accessible seating is permitted to reserve one additional seat in this section for a designated support person. This allows for the availability of adequate seating for those with the greatest need. Also contact the university in advance if you are planning to bring a stroller so that extra seating space can be arranged prior to the Convocation ceremony. All washrooms are accessible within the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre (where the ceremony is held).
Guests are welcome to bring their own personal assistive device.
Limited numbers of courtesy wheelchairs can be reserved in advance by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 705.474.3450 ext. 4898. The courtesy wheelchair must be returned to the Accessibility Services area at the side of the gym once the Convocation ceremony is complete.
Red Cross personnel and staff from Accessibility Services will be in attendance at each Convocation ceremony (in the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre) to offer assistance.

University memorabilia (sweats, mugs, etc.) are available for sale in the Campus Shop. The Campus Shop accepts Interac, cash and credit cards. Hours of operation during Convocation are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Campus Shop will also have a table for memorabilia sales in the Surtees Foyer.
School rings will be available for sale during Convocation; the vendor will be located in the Surtees foyer.
Heritage Directories and Photography will be on site during Convocation for those who missed an opportunity to have graduation portraits taken earlier in the year. They will be located in Fitness Room #1.
The photos will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Fresh flowers will be available for purchase from the flower kiosk before and after the Convocation ceremony in the foyer of the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre.

It has taken years of hard work, so proudly display your Nipissing University degree in an elegant custom official Nipissing University degree frame! Each year during Convocation, NUSA provides a degree framing service. You can have your degree framed on the spot - it only takes a few minutes. If you pre-order your degree frames for your degree or if you would like to have your degree framed and your degree has already been conferred earlier in the academic year, please bring your degree with you to the framing tables in the Nipissing University main entrance foyer.
These special frames highlight your degree and your pride in being a Nipissing University graduate! Proceeds from the program are used to support on-going student programs and services.
A 10% discount is offered for all pre-orders before May 2, 2017. Degree frames can be pre-ordered online using VISA or MasterCard. Cash or cheque payments can be made at the Student Development and Services Office, B210.
If you are attending Convocation, you will be able to pick up your degree frame at the Pre-Paid table located in the Surtees Centre Foyer. *Please note thare is an additional $12.50 shipping charge for those not attending Convocation.

Guests may park in any of the parking lots on campus. Parking lots 1 and 5 have been designated as Visitor and are recommended for graduates and their guests. There is no parking fee on any of the Convocation dates. Please note that the parking lots may be crowded. Accessible parking is available in Lot 4.
