Aboriginal Summer Camps - Outdoor, Ecology, Science

The Aboriginal Initiatives office is offering three outdoor science camps for all students aged 9-14

 

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily
 
1) Outdoor Skills (July 11th-July 22nd)- Survival and bushcraft including shelter building, orienteering, wild edibles, water filtration, and fire starting ($150)
 
2) Ecology (July 25th-July 29th)- Traditional and modern hunting and fishing methods, animal conservation, plant identification and predator-prey relationships ($75)
 
3) Science of Life (August 2nd-August 5th)- Chemistry, human physiology, genetics, and the interconnectedness of all living things ($60)
